Building Community
We are all God’s children and, therefore, absolutely equal. None of us are God’s mistake. Because we believe this, we commit ourselves to others in our welcome, our service and good works and in our discussions and social events.
We are guided by these words of Pope Francis:
“Growth in holiness is a journey in community, side by side with others.”
Social Supermarket
The Noctorum Social Supermarket will provide cut-price food and household products to families in the area. It is run by the community, for the community and is open to all. Our mission is that no local resident ever goes hungry.
ONCT
Oxton / Noctorum Churches Together is a long standing grouping of local churches which cooperate together to help build a sense of wider community. ONCT also plans and organizes some shared activities including United services, Lent lunches, pulpit exchanges and the Good Friday Walk of Witness.
Sunday Lunch
The idea of sharing Sunday lunch arose from the recognition of how many parishioners dine alone most of the time. Anyone who would be dining alone is invited to eat together, usually on the fourth Sunday of the month.
Sadly, our lunch group is not meeting at present.
Holy Communion For The Sick & Housebound
We can arrange for you to receive communion in your home, nursing home or hospital. Please contact Father John who will be glad to organise this for you.

Catholic Agency for Overseas Development. We take monthly donations to support CAFOD, an international aid agency working to alleviate poverty and suffering in developing countries.
